Yes, the R2Photogram is a completely open system. Currently, the patch file is provided separately, but it will be integrated into the main installer in future software updates.
Download Patch file:
02. R2Photogram_Interface_Installer.exe
Enter this directory to your File Explorer: C:\Program Files\Photogrammetry Camera\interface
Drag and drop the STL file of the scan body that you want to use to this folder. Ensure that the coordinates for the scan body is at (0, 0, 0) with Z-axis up. This can be edited in any CAD software.
This scanbody is not at (0, 0, 0) and is Y-axis up.
This scanbody is at (0, 0, 0) Z-axis up.
Save your file to the directory.
Now, go to R2Photogram software and export your captured data.
Select STL and Confirm.
You will find your converted data in the folder.
You can send this data to the lab or merge this data with your intraoral scan to design.
